IDK if it’s just me but I’m seeing cool collabs pop up everywhere recently. From a starburst bath-bomb to that Liquid Death x e.l.f. Cosmetics collab that got everyone talking, we are truly in the age of “together everyone achieves more”. Heck, even Instagram is fully on board with their (pretty epic) collab feature.

Let’s dive straight into how you can hop on the trend:

1. Ask yourself: what do you want? 🤔 First things first, what do you actually want? Whether it’s expanding reach, driving sales, or getting more eyeballs on your brand, it’s crucial to set clear goals and KPIs. This might look a little like:

  • Increasing reach 👀 Aim for more visibility? Consider collab’ing your posts or running a giveaway to attract new followers.

  • Looking for more sales 💸 Want to boost sales? Think about bundling offers with a brand you’ve always wanted to work with.

  • Expanding your yard 🗺️ Looking to enter new markets? Collaborate with brands that have a strong presence in those areas.

  • Driving emotion 💕 tricked you - always remember that your ultimate goal is to drive emotion; you want to make people feel something.

2. Now the fun bit: who do you want? 🤗 Next up, scout for brands that are on the same level as you. Look for those with a similar audience size and a like-minded community. You want to hit that sweet spot of partnering up with a brand that’s a similar stage to you, whilst still offering something new & fresh.
